Become Active Today, by Paying your TSU CoETCS Annual Alumni Dues
To ALL Tennessee State University College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science Alumni and Supporters;
Become a financial member of the TSU Engineering Alumni Association and help support its mission. Your local TSUEAA and TSU National Alumni Association (TSUNAA) national annual dues (if you are not a TSUNAA "Life Member") are due. Dues for the TSU Engineering Alumni Association dues is only $25 per year. The TSUNAA is only $25 per year, if you are 'not' a Life Member of the TSUNAA. If you are a member of a TSUNAA 'City' or 'Geographic' chapter, you can have DUAL membership with the TSU Engineering Alumni Association if you so chose.
All TSUEAA leaders, either elected or appointed, must be financial with the TSUEAA and TSUNAA. Dues is critical to support the engineering alumni association's operations. To date, since we have had a limited amount of funds to sustain our organization, most of the its operations has been paid out of the pocket of a few faithful TSUEAA members. We cannot sustain our organization's operations with this funding method. Being financial will also be a requirement for voting on TSUEAA and association business, especially as it pertains to the TSU Engineering Alumni Endowment. Members that are selected to serve as directors of the TSU Engineering Alumni Endowment must be financial members of the TSU Engineering Alumni Association and the TSUNAA.
We currently have a e-mail distribution list of 800 CoETCS alumni, and a database of postal addresses of 1,700 CoETCS. We need to establish a "minimum" paid membership base of "200" members to fund our organizational budget. Our annual budget will fund:
(1) On-Going development of the TSUEAA web portal and it's on-going enhancement/maintenance
(2) TSUEAA-wide Mailing campaign to support efforts to BUILD our TSU CoETCS Alumni Endowment
(Primarily for TSU CoETCS alum who do not have or use e-mail);
(3) TSUEAA '1-800' conference call service, for monthly leadership and association-wide conference
calls;
(4) Annual TSU Engineering Alumni Summit;
(5) Homecoming Meeting and Activities;
(6) Local Association Scholarship Awards;
(7) Local Association Membership Awards;
(8) Pay for Attorney Fees; and
(9) General TSUEAA operational expenses.

TSUEAA and TSUNAA fiscal year starts July 1st of each calendar year and ends on June 30th of the following year. Your dues will be applied according to the TSUEAA and TSUNAA Fiscal Year in which it is received, unless you provide instructions to the TSUEAA treasurer to apply it to the following fiscal year.
Your support of our TSUEAA is critical and essential. We appreciate your financial support. Without it, we could not operate.
