THE TSU CoETCS 'MIGHTY 100'
PROFILE OF EXCELLENCE
#28. Lennox Jackson
Lennox has worked for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Corporation for the past 8 years as a Systems Engineer for Avionics and as engineering support for the Electronic Warfare Integrated Product Team. He currently holds the position of Project Integrator, which is the precursor of Project and Program Management for Mission Systems and Software. He provides overall project management of F-22 software enhancements for fielded jets.
Lennox attended TSU from 1996 to 2001. While at TSU, he was an honor student and pledged Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated in Spring 2000. He graduated from TSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in May 2001, is currently enrolled in the MSEE program at National Technical University at Walden University, and hopes to pursue an MBA in Project Management.
“The technical knowledge I was afforded coupled with a large dose of tough love from my professors in the College of Engineering, Technology and Computer Science have prepared me for the positions I have held with Lockheed Martin. The design presentations that we did gave me the confidence that I needed to be able to make presentations today to Directors and Vice President’s in the corporation.”
“There is a saying that “To whom much is given, much is required”. It is with that in mind that I enthusiastically contribute to the TSU CoETCS Alumni Endowment. The scholarships attached to this endowment is critical for helping push young minds to their success potential in the fields of Engineering and Technical Sciences, fields that more and more students are shying away from.
