“TSU CoETCS has prepared me with the ability to handle problems in traffic operations. There has been growing difficulties in solving these problems because of the increasing number of drivers, the increasing speeds and accident rates, the decaying infrastructure and lack of resources. There is also the never-ending push to do “more with less”. However, it is critical to make every attempt to keep everyone safe, no matter what mode of travel is used. My experience at TSU CoETCS has had a major impact on my life. As I reflect on the time I spent in this institution, not only did it prepare me for an engineering career, it helped to shape my life’s path. Anyone who has attended this college understands the various challenges and what’s required to overcome them. I was forced to mature quickly but gracefully. It was also a time when my true character and personality were beginning to mold and develop. I was painfully shy and withdrawn in high school after my father’s death. But it was the friendships, the training, long registration lines, closed classes, lack of finances, the tears, the instructors, the study sessions, and the social life at TSU that have contributed to my growth. I will cherish all the fond memories (and not so fond) of TSU. Today I feel I can accomplish anything!”

“The importance of the TSU CoETCS Alumni Endowment must be stressed. It would not have been possible for me to finish school if someone had not given to me. There is no way I could sit back, enjoy the benefits, and not make a contribution to the endowment, knowing that my life could have taken another direction. Giving is also a testimony to others. Its principle says there will be a return. Also, it is a must to have higher education, if there is no other alternative. It is also a must to help those students who have dreams and goals and need help in order to achieve them. Where would the school be without the students? This endowment means the life of the school.”
