THE TSU CoETCS 'MIGHTY 100' PROFILE OF EXCELLENCE Ralph Andre Peek Occupation - Director, Media & Entertainment Industry, IBM Global Technology Services Andre leads US sales and business development for IT services within IBM's media industry vertical. Andre is in his 27th year with IBM. His career with IBM has taken him through a progression of key roles within product development, marketing, and sales. TSU and the CoETCS played a crucial role in Andre's career development. The things that really stand out for Andre were the excellent EE staff of Dr. Devgan and Dr. Malkani working tirelessly to push the students to excel and rewarding them with tremendously motivating experiences like the NASA and MIT fellowships. Near and dear to Andre are his fellow EE's who were, "just the best group of colleagues I've ever had the pleasure to work along side of. We really saw each other through and I'll always be grateful for their teamwork and fellowship". While at TSU Andre was inducted into the Eta Kappa Nu Electrical Engineering Honor Society and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Andre is on the Board of Directors of the NC Business Committee for Education and also serves on key State Board of Education commissions. Andre and his wife, Donna, are proud parents of a 6 year old son, Karl. Andre's Hobbies include learning, fitness, and golf.
