#1. William A. Lawson

William A. Lawson William A. Lawson was employed at IBM for 18 years in roles as a Computer Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Technical Sales Manager. In the Georgia Southern Area he provided leadership to a staff of Systems Engineers and Sales Specialists who provided technical support and sales of IBM's hardware, software, and professional services, generating revenues exceeding $130 million. William planned the initial launch of Information Technical Resources, Inc. in 1992 where he currently leads the efforts of providing IT and some non-technical professional services to Fortune 500 companies on a contracting and permanent basis.

William obtained an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee State University, and a chartered membership in Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society. He has also completed several classes and programs on executive management, entrepreneurship, and technical topics.

William is currently a Board Member of the Victim Witness Assistance Program and a past Board Member of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Atlanta and a strong supporter of their Street Ministries Program. He is also a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity and a mentor for African American youth. His company has co-sponsored an annual running event fundraiser for the Sickle Cell Foundation.
