MEMBERSHIP DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED: TSU CoETCS Alumni It's Time To Pay
Your 2006-2007 Annual Membership Dues
To ALL Tennessee State University College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science Alumni;
To ALL TSU Engineering Alumni Association Members;
35 alumni have paid to date and we need 165 MORE to make the commitment. THE DEADLINE TO PAY YOUR 2006-2007 DUES HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MARCH 22ND, 2007. THIS IS A TSUEAA ELECTION YEAR, YOU HAVE TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE TO HAVE BEEN A PAID MEMBER THE PREVIOUS YEAR TO BE AN ELECTED OFFICER.
It is dues time and it is time to pay your annual membership dues. Your local TSU Engineering Alumni Association/Chapter and TSUNAA national (if you are not a TSU National Alumni Association "Life Member") annual dues is due. Dues for the TSU Engineering Alumni Association/Chapter Dues is only $25 and the TSUNAA is only $25 per year . If you are a member of a TSUNAA 'City' or 'Geographic' chapter, you can have DUAL membership with the TSU Engineering Alumni Association if you so chose.
All TSUEAA leaders, either elected or appointed, must be financial and must pay their dues. Dues is important to support the engineering alumni chapter's operations. Since we have had a limited amount of funds to sustain the chapter, most of the chapter's operations has been paid out of the pocket of a few faithful members. We cannot sustain our chapter with this funding method. Being financial will also be a requirement for voting on TSUEAA and chapter business, especially as it pertains to the TSU Engineering Alumni Endowment. Members serving as trustees and directors of the TSU Engineering Alumni Endowment must be financial members of the TSU Engineering Alumni Chapter and the TSUNAA.
We currently have a e-mail distribution list of 800 CoETCS alumni, and a database of postal addresses of 1,700 CoETCS. We need to establish a chapter paid membership base of "200" members minimum to fund our 2006-2007 chapter budget. Our 2006-2007 budget will fund:
(1) Development of our TSUEAA web portal and fund it's on-going hosting/development/maintenance (CRITICAL);
(2) 2006-2007 Mailing campaign for 2006-2007 efforts to BUILD our CoETCS Alumni Endowment (Primarily for TSU CoETCS alum that do not have or use e-mail) (ESSENTIAL);
(3) TSUEAA '1-800' conference call service, for monthly leadership and chapter-wide conference calls (NECESSARY);
(4) 2007 2nd Annual TSU Engineering Alumni Summit (IMPORTANT);
(5) 2006 Homecoming Meeting and Activities (MANDATORY);
(6) Local Chapter Awards (VITAL); and
(7) General TSUEAA operational expenses (NEED I SAY MORE).
28 alumni have paid to date and we need 172 others to make the commitment.
Please make checks payable to: "TSU Engineering Alumni Association." Write "2006-2007 Membership Dues" in the memo section. Send your Dues to:

If you send your National Dues to Marvin, you can make out a separate check for $25 payable to the "TSUNAA" (with "2006-2007 National Dues" on the memo line) and he will forward your $25 national dues to the TSUNAA office. Please pay your dues before MARCH 22ND, 2007. Our financial policy and service level agreement to you is to accompany all dues and contributions with a mailed receipt.
If you want to give more to support the TSUEAA chapter operations, all contributions are welcome. All additional contributions will go into our chapter's operational account to support the mission of the chapter. Thank you for your consideration.
